The paid kit adds your branding, scope, VAT fields and PDF printing.

For your records, not a customer quote.

Illustrative numbers, not recommended market rates. Formula: entered costs ÷ (1 − margin). Enter fully loaded labour costs; missed costs overstate the money left. VAT, if applicable, is added separately. Read the worked example →

Save quotes on your device. Track sent, won and lost jobs. Export a CSV and back up your data.

  4. 04

The words for the next step

Editable messages for sending a quote, checking in, clarifying scope and asking for an honest review.

A simple routine

Before, during, after.

1

Cost the work honestly.

Count every cleaner’s hours, materials, travel and an overhead allowance. Put a value on your own time, too.

2

Make the scope clear.

Write down what the customer gets, what is excluded, your price and the next step. Send the printable quote.

3

Check what happened.

Follow up respectfully. When the job is finished, compare the actual cost with your estimate before quoting the next one.

The five-minute read

Margin and markup
aren’t the same thing.

If a clean costs £120 and you add 25%, you charge £150. That leaves a 20% margin. For a 25% margin, the price is £160.

A few practical questions.

Is this a subscription or a hosted app?

Neither. It is a downloadable HTML file you open in a modern browser. Your quotes stay in local browser storage. There is no login, cloud sync, automated email sending or subscription.

Can I use it for domestic and commercial cleaning?

Yes. You enter your own service description, scope, time and costs. It does not supply market rates, guarantee job timings or assess a property for you.

Do my customers see my costs or margin?

The client quote print view shows your business details, customer details, scope, quote price and terms. It does not include your internal costs, target margin or enquiry tracker.

Will it work on my phone?

The layout adapts to a mobile browser. For longer quotes, CSV files, backups and printing to PDF, a desktop browser is usually more convenient. Keep a copy of the downloaded file and export backups.

What if it’s not useful for my business?

Email the seller within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Seller contact details are shown on the terms page before checkout opens. Statutory rights are not affected.
